Report your release of gamebirds on a European site or within the 500m buffer zone of its boundary

Only report an action when you've already released common pheasants or red-legged partridges.

You do not need to tell Natural England about birds you intend to release.

How to use this service

Use this form to report an action under an individual licence (A10 or A48) to release gamebirds on a European protected site or within the 500m buffer zone.

Before you begin to complete this form you should know or have ready, for each site:

  • details of which species you have released
  • where the release site is located
  • the total number of each species you have released
  • the size of the release pen
  • when the release started and finished
