Report your release of gamebirds on a European Site or within the 500m buffer zone of its boundary

Use this form to report an action under an individual licence (A10 or A48) to release gamebirds on a European protected site or within the 500m buffer zone.

Before you begin to complete this form you should know or have ready, for each site:

• details of which species you released
• where the release site is located
• the total number of each species released
• the size of the release pen
• when the release started and finished

When to use this service

You should only use this service if you’ve already released common pheasants or red-legged partridges.
You do not need to tell Natural England about birds you intend to release.
