When to submit this form

Use this form to apply to the Marine Recovery Fund (MRF) for the reservation of the Marine Protected Area designation and/or extension strategic compensatory measure (SCM).

If you are applying for the reservation of an SCM post-consent, you must complete this Part A form before completing and submitting Part B - Marine Recovery Fund (MRF) Marine Protected Area designation and/or extension - Expression of Interest Part B (Post-Consent Submission) (opens in new tab).

The consent may be a Development Consent Order (DCO), a marine licence (ML) related to a DCO or Section 36 consent, or a standalone ML.

The consent is the one that either:

  • contains the relevant compensation conditions
  • you expect to contain the relevant compensation conditions.
